With its dimensions of 210x50mm, this press can brew approximately 1-2 cups of coffee (250-350ml), ideal for personal use or sharing with someone else.
How do I use this French press correctly?
Add coarse ground coffee to the bottom, pour in hot (not boiling) water, stir gently, place the lid on, and wait 4 minutes. Then slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the liquid and serve immediately.
Can it be washed in a dishwasher or only by hand?
Although stainless steel is dishwasher-safe, handwashing is recommended to prolong the life of the filter and seals. Simply disassemble the parts, rinse with warm water and mild soap.
What type of coffee grind works best with this press?
It is recommended to use coarse ground coffee, similar to kosher salt. Fine grounds can pass through the filter and leave sediment in your cup, as well as make pressing difficult.
Does stainless steel keep coffee hot for a long time?
Stainless steel retains heat better than glass, keeping your coffee hot for approximately 15-20 minutes. For best results, preheat the press with hot water before brewing your coffee.
